California Costal Records Project

Let me have a word. The summer is now very officially gone and still I do not really feel like I had experienced it this year. Looking around me into the dull faces of the city I instantly feel transferred into dark continental European Christmas time. Even the stores are full of Christmas sweets already.

The only thing that remains is the escape into the ever growing digital world ad experience a share of the summer in the web. Kenneth Adelman shot pictures of almost every centimeter of the Californian coastline – all while sitting in a small helicopter. The images have a remarkable resolution and the not only serve as valuable documentation of the endangered coastline but they also allow me to dive into th world of rich beach houses and beautiful sand beaches from right here.. the cold Autumn in continental Europe.

Join me in congratulating Kenneth for this wonderful piece of work.

P.S.: The fact that you can see directly into Barbara Streisand’s living room is only another fun bonus that is being delivered by Kenneth.
