The World’s Biggest Pool January 23, 2008

San Alfonso Del Mar from Space

I will not put this on my wishlist. But when I look out of my window now I’d rather wish I was in San Alfonso del Mar. The Chilean beach resort houses the world’s biggest swimming pool with roughly 80’000 square meters in size. It holds up to 250’000 cubic meters of salt water. Even small boat rides are possible.  The resort itself looks pretty boring. Ugly tall buildings with lot’s of Spanish/Portuguese children crying on the hallways. Nevertheless I would be up for a swim in the pool right now. Let the sun shine on.
