Surfers in Munich in April 2008

It’s April and we are visiting Munich again. After “doing” Frankfurt for a bit this city feels truly beautiful! Most of the inner city parts have been refreshed and are now shiny and clean. Modern stores with lots of high tech are now hiding behind old facades (http://www.fuenfhoefe.de/).

It is quite amazing though how much bigger cities around the globe look alike. You will always find your H&M and you’re local LV store there.

Anyway. The time spent was very enjoyable and I experienced a natural friendliness around myself. I have to admit there seems to be no more advantage for the East. Even people in bigger cities are becoming more and more alike and finding friendly friends is equally difficult no matter where you look.

Surfing is also a nice activity particularly in Munich.
